This photo came to me from Lela Barnard, the wife of Fightin' 79th pilot Donald Barnard. It was presented to me as being of Barnard (third from left) and his crew, but all of the men pictured are officers. The man seated in front of Barnard has been tentatively identified as Lt. James Hahn.

Anyone have any clues as to who these other three men are and where the picture was taken?

I am guessing that the photo was taken post-war, perhaps in Germany with the Occupation Forces?

This photo came to me from Tom Skinner, the grandson of Fightin' 79th pilot Kenneth Skinner. It has no information written on the back and both Tom and I are curious as to who this man might be.

I am guessing that the photo was taken while Skinner was in flight training.

This document also came to me from Tom Skinner, Kenneth Skinner's grandson. He found over forty of these in his grandfather's papers and we would both be interested in knowing exactly what they were called.

I am guessing that these are pre-mission notes and Skinner added the tail markings from the different bomber groups the 20th would be escorting for that mission in the left margin...
