At right you will find samples of the over 480 pages on this groundbreaking CD-ROM. As you can see this is not only an invaluable source for rare images but for information as well.

Each officer from the Fightin' 79th (and a few from 20th Fighter Group Headquarters) is profiled. Four of the sample profiles also include their respective virtual galleries - these galleries run the gambit from just a single additional photo to several pages of photos, related items, excerpts from wartime reports and other information. Many of these galleries were created thanks to many former members of the 20th Fighter Group, and their families, opening up their collections. This means that much of what is presented is being seen for the first time anywhere.

The sample enlisted roster page shows the lengths we have gone to uncover information about the men behind the scenes, the crewmen, clerks, refuelers and mechanics who always seem to get overlooked when works of this type are compiled. The serial numbers and enlistment data for nearly 75% of these men has been included along with several photo galleries of the men at work and play.

This is just a small sample of what is included on this CD-ROM, for a complete list of all personnel be sure to check that link and for a glimpse of just some of the huge amount of information that's not shown here, check out the screenshots.
